Hi Roman,

the error seems to come from the fact that username contains non-ascii characters - the function called last is expanduser . Try running under a different user, or set a different home directory; that should help.

As a side note, the Windows port of Woo is currently not maintained for lack of interest; all users - industrial and academic - run it on Linux.

Cheers, Vaclav

Hi Vaclav,

thanks for your answer. I've trying change username, but it doesn't completely fix my problem. Now i'm running woo under different user with full ascii name and it work.

I'm already thinking about use Linux for woo, but solve that first i'm trying woo superficially and, if it satisfy my requirements, i will run it under Linux.

Thanks a lot.

I am glad you could find a workaround. If you need guidance about functionality required and so on, you can also ask here. As beginning user, you won't be able to appreciate what it can do without getting more familiar. Have a look at docs, the gallery, case studies. The version for Windows is lagging behind the latest development by quite a bit now (over a year IIRC). Good luck! v.
