Hi Vaclav,

I wonder if there is any class in Woo similar to VolumicContactLaw in Yade? As I would like to simulatate High Compaction on Concrete, from the paper [Harthong2009], it seems to be possible with modified constitutive law which takes into account the local porosity with the help of Voronoi cell. I found the codes on Gitlab, but for some reason it has been removed from Yade.

Best regards,

Giao

Hi Giao, sorry for late response. There were some attempts at using volumetric strain in formulas for the concrete model, but it was not used ultimately (epsVolumetric, commented out in ConcreteMatState). I'd say if you are more towards constitutive models than contact problems, use FEM where you can use the strain tensor in a natural way. In DEM, it is essentially a hack. Best, Vaclav
